To Octobers and beginnings

Change is the inevitable truth of our lives, and as the leaves change through the seasons and we watch the shock of reds and oranges overtaking the greenery of warmer days, I find myself entirely changed.

What is changing? I am releasing a book tentatively on 12.21.2024, the winter solstice, another marked day of change as it signals that brighter days lie ahead.

My birthday is also this month, and amidst all of the change surrounding me I am actively growing older, changing and stretching out of the me that has carried me this far. It makes me think of Nora, the main character of my series, and they way she stretched and grew with me. We both emerge from this story in an entirely new form, unrecognizable to even ourselves.

The final change is the birth of this website which I am unsure what to do with or what it means. I hope it becomes a place of refuge, I hope it becomes a place of solace and connection, and I hope that you the reader can find your way to me through this site.

And that is all for now. I am gearing up for publication, interviews, and finalizing edits, and I will be entirely swept up in the change of the seasons and what they will continue to bring to me.
